For our first 2nd year studio charette/project of the year, Path, we are focusing on wayfinding. "Wayfinding" is "the process of using spatial and environmental information to find our way in the built environment." For the card (individual) stage of this week long charette, we were each given a specific place around Greensboro to travel. We then had to create vingette drawings along our pathway, a study of how we find our way around. This assignment proved to be a little more complicated, as it was pretty much pouring rain the entire time, but it was interesting and fun. Can't wait to see where the rest of the project takes us.
