My concept for the egg project was "fish out of water." The egg is a human egg, to represent someone like myself, a new college student that will eventually grow. The large size of the box shows how tiny and out of scale the egg is compared to it's surroundings. The black paper on the inside represents the new challenges and areas of insecurity and "darkness" we face with beginning college. There are some small holes of light, and it is tied together at the corners to show how the darkness can easily be broken down, if we can just figure out how. The egg is placed on the edge of the box to show new independence. Pictures of the prototypes will be coming soon!
